SODIS technology for safe drinking water

Although all protected springs are tested for contamination, we have decided to include SODIS technology in our school outreach program. SODIS is a simple technique of sterilizing contaminated water for drinking within 6 hours by exposing a water-filled PET bottle to the sun. We want the pupils who are part of our program to take this technology to their communities, relatives and friends who might not have access to clean water. It also enables children to always have clean drinking water available at school.

We believe that children can be good ambassadors for good things! And they enjoy being ambassadors!
